This place is awful. The staff takes their time, they lose your paperwork, and then they never take blame for anything. Your probably better off having a homeless guy help with your medical needs then this place.
We had a Er intern that was amazing. He tried. He admitted husband to hospital for further care and testing. My husband has long history of heart issues has had open heart surgery allready. Once he was admitted his nurses were awesome .but we had to fight to get hospitilist Dr . Haley to do anything. He Absolutly refused him a cardio consult 3 times after we kindly ask 3 times. We were told his pain was due to cronic pain although he had never had the pain this severe before. He proceded to release him from hospital, against our wishes, and sent him home with paperwork stating for these symptoms seek medical attention immediatly, he had all the symptons on the papers at time of discharge, even the nurse was baffled he was going home. Now thanking god we were able to get a dr. In columbus who cares and after further testing, not only did he have congestive heart faliure, he has a artery in his neck 97 percent blocked, and stage 3 kidney faliure. Please never rely on one uncareing drs. Opinion, in this case it was life or death. If this Dr. Haley is given to you as a hospitalist please seek another opinion.
I had surgery the end of July. I had been off work and had not received and invoice and just got slammed with almost $1000. Billing department was rude and unprofessional. I had to speak with 2 different people because when the rep transferred me to a supervisor I was disconnected. When I called back the next rep read the notes outloud! Glad I heard it. Still in pain from the surgery and was told its normal. Refused me medication 4 days after surgery. Still have limited use of my dominent arm. Very dissappointed.
This place has the most amazing nurses and doctors they took excellent care of me
If I ever have to go back to a hospital, this is the place I want to go. I live 90 miles from there, but will be worth it. Thanks again to all the wonderful staff at Adena!
In addition, even the doctors knew I did not want to be there. They were very patient in explaining my condition, the reason I needed to be there, the procedure that was needed to go through, and what would happen if the protocol was not followed.
The staff at this hospital was simply amazing. They are the most friendliest, patient, and conscientious group of people in a medical facility I have ever met. I had to stay there for 3 days. No one likes to be in a hospital, but when I left, it felt like I was leaving behind some of my best friends and family.
