It's a movie theatre. The theatre we were in was visibly clean, and mostly empty. My biggest hang up was concessions. They don't do that well at all. I stood as the third person in a line for 15 minutes while the person in charge of that line catered popcorn to help the line beside ours. If you want concessions, get there.....um.....early.
Danbarry Cinemas is unfortunately a mediocre theatre at best. While the staff seems friendly and helpful, management seems to have decided to take advantage of the fact that they have a monopoly over Chillicothe by cutting corners. A small change though very significant was the switch from popcorn buckets to popcorn bags. This leads to an absurd amount of noise being produced whenever there's a significant amount of customs. This absolutely kills the atmosphere during quiet parts of a movie, and pretty much completely ruins the experience. Will probably end up driving to Columbus for the next movie I want to see because it's so significant.
This place is quickly becoming dirty, run down and not well cared for. It used to be well managed, clean and maintained. Very disappointed.
Pricy as usual for a movie. There no matinee times that I saw wich is aggravating. They do have a small arcade that is nice if you have to wait.
The concession workers do not wash their hands after handling money.
Nice place to watch new movies. Not as friendly as you'd want an employee to be! But overall not a bad experience. I go all the time!
