After doing all of the preliminary tests for a hiatal hernia surgery, he insisted on using the "robot" for the surgery. He said that he wouldn't do the surgery without it. I was backed into a corner. If I went to another doctor, he would do the prelim testing all over again. I went through with the surgery and the results lasted about 3 months before it fell apart. I had to go to another surgeon, but by that time my stomach was laying on top of my liver and the scar tissue was fusing them together.
Dr. Sever and his team are amazing! I'm not sure my 90 year old grandmother would have made it through two surgeries in nine days with any other surgeon. Our entire family was very impressed with Dr. Sever! He is very personable and has great bed side manners!! We highly recommend him!!
